Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to blazebids.com and the services operated by Blaze Bids, Inc., including Blaze Bids accounts, seller submissions, dealer memberships, private auctions, payments, email, and the Blaze Bids text messaging program.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including names, email addresses, mobile numbers, dealership and licensing details, account credentials, vehicle identification numbers, vehicle details, photos, title and payoff information, bids, auction activity, and communications with us.

Payment providers process bank and billing information. Blaze Bids may retain provider identifiers, membership, transaction, payment-readiness, and payment-status records, but does not use your bank information for unrelated purposes.

We also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device data, cookies, access logs, and security or fraud signals.

How we use information

• Operate seller intake, dealer verification, memberships, auctions, bidding, and transaction coordination.
• Authenticate accounts, protect the marketplace, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
• Process memberships and authorized transaction fees through payment providers.
• Send service emails and, with separate consent, auction and bidding alerts by text message.
• Provide support, maintain records, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Mobile information and SMS consent

When a dealer voluntarily opts in, Blaze Bids may send recurring automated text messages about new auctions, bid confirmations, and outbid activity. Message frequency varies with marketplace and bidding activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing a membership or using Blaze Bids. We retain the consent status, date, capture method, disclosure version, and any later profile opt-out as evidence of the dealer’s choice.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

When information is shared

We share information only as needed to operate the service: with hosting, payment, communications, analytics, security, and professional service providers acting on our behalf; with the matched buyer and seller after the seller approves a sale; or when required to protect rights, safety, the service, or comply with law.

Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to Blaze Bids and under their applicable contractual and legal obligations. SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from sharing as stated above.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may update account information through your profile, decline SMS during registration, withdraw SMS consent in your dealer profile, or reply STOP to an eligible Blaze Bids text. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

Cookies and external services

Blaze Bids uses necessary cookies for login, account, security, preferences, checkout, and marketplace functions. Embedded or connected services may set their own cookies or collect data under their privacy terms.

Children

Blaze Bids is intended for adults and licensed automotive businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
